Oilmen sponsored for the third time the interregional kickboxing tournament.
The ceremony of opening of the Third Cup of Russia for kickboxing was held ain Federal Sporting Complex “Zvezdny” on November, 9. The competition under the motto “Sports – against terror, juvenile delinquency and drugs” were organized by Kickboxing federation of PFO. The tournament will last till November, 11 and the participants come from many cities of Russia and the CIS.
The general sponsor of the tournament is OAO “Saratovneftegas”, a subsidiary of “RussNeft” company. This is the third interregional tournament which is held in Saratov and sponsored by oilmen. Sponsoring of children’s and youth sports is one of the priorities in the regional charity program of “RussNeft”. Besides assistance in arranging the competition, Saratov sportsmen were given the possibility to take part at the competition in other Russian cities and abroad.
Among other projects stimulating development of sports there are construction of skate-park for extreme sports at Cosmonaut Embankment, purchasing of sport equipment for youth sports center at Lysye Gory. “Saratovneftegas” sponsored such an important and spectacular event as the Cup of Russia for auto sports. Financial support the oilmen rendered permitted to arrange technical inspection and repair of the sport complex “Leader” in the village of Pavlovka, Marx district. 10 children’s play sites were constructed in the Volzhsk district of Saratov free of charge.
