Dreams of oil workers come true
ОАО MPK "Aganneftegazgeologia", a subsidiay of NK "RussNeft", implements on its license areas an ambitious program of exploitation drilling. Another subsidiary of the Holding, OOO "RussNeft-Bureniye", will be the general drilling contractor. The bulk of drilling works will be carried on at Vostochno-Roslavlskoye area of Roslavlskoye oilfield. Geological exploration opened up new vistas of this oilfield. In 2008 thanks to new wellsites the oil workers are going to produce 600 thous. tons of hydrocarbon, that will make up more than 30 % of the annual business plan of the enterprise.
Drilling of the cluster № 16 has already started at Roslavlskoye oilfield. During the year at the cluster site there will be constructed 6 exploitation wells, among them 2 horizontal wells, and 2 wells for the production of Cenomanian water for the reservoir pressure maintenance system.
Currently drilling of horizontal well № 1003 goes at full drive. Its budgeted depth is 3 198 metres. For the moment there was drilled 2 839 metres. Upstream of the landing of the production string there's left 110 metres.
As it was told by Pavel Kitanov, the Leading Drilling Engineer of OOO "RussNeft-Bureniye", from the point of 2550 metres the most important work has started - the dog-leg for horizontal well. The budget depth of horizontal stretch is 250 metres. After completion of work the drilling unit will be removed to 15 metres. This will allow to immediately start the drilling of the next well, and also to develop and operate a new one. As the specialists estimated total, debit of horizontal well will exceed 1000 Cubic metres of hydrocarbon materials every day. That is half as small as in the adjacent deviated wells.
Earlier there were completed drilling works at cluster № 15. In March here was completed development of the last 25th well № 605. Today about 70% of all oil production of the enterprise falls at the wells, situated on this cluster site. The mid-debit of one well is 200 tons per day.
Drilling at Zapadno-Mogutlorskoye license area will also go on. At the moment the preparatory works are carried on at cluster № 5. It is supposed that this year here will be drilled 6 wells. During the development of new wells the technology of hydraulic fracturing of formation will be applied.
There's one more important activity of oil workers from "Aganneftegazgeologia" - prospecting of the underground reservoirs. In the beginning of April drilling works started at the exploratory well № 32 of Katyuninskaya stretch in Roslavlskoye license area. Geologists are expected to penetrate into the depth of 3 819 metres. During the drilling it is planned to explore and to test 8 sites within the range of БВ8 – ЮВ12. In the long term, in case of positive results, obtained data will form the basis for preparation of oil-bearing structure for exploitation drilling.
Their great hopes the oil workers gear to this well. The site is perspective and good for exploitation. According to the estimates of the specialists, Roslavlskoye oilfield has great potential, opened up only to 40%.
Successful realization of the construction programme of new exploitation wells in the license areas of the Company will allow the oil workers of "Aganneftegazgeologia" to exceed the annual level of oil production to 2 mln tons of "black gold".
