Tomsk. June 3, INTERFAX – Oil company “RussNeft” is planning to have brought oil production volume up to 2 million tons per year by 2012, according to the statement the Vice Governor of the region Vladimir Yemeshev made to “Interfax”.
V. Yemeshev pointed out that the representatives of the Company had informed the administration of Tomsk Region about their intention to set up in the Region a managing company which would undertake all the complex of works at the oilfields of seven subsidiaries, including ZAO “Sobolinoye”, as well as the companies of Benodet Investment Ltd, OOO “Poselkovoye”, OOO “Fediushkinskoye”, OOO “Grushevoye”, OOO “Stolbovoye”, OOO “Duklinskoye”.
He also mentioned that the program of exploratory works, operation drilling and development of the oilfields of “RussNeft” in Tomsk Region” for 2008 is formed up in amount of 2.5 billion rubles. “The program is already in operation. And the result of it is the fact that in the first quarter of this year Zapadno-Gurarinskoye oilfield was discovered”, Mr. Yemeshev added.
According to Vice Governor, the Company also submitted for consideration of the administration of the region a variant of addenda to the Agreement on Cooperation signed in 2005, wherein it undertook to finance social projects in amount of up to 35 million rubles and besides, submitted to Tomsk Department of Subsurface Resources Management (“Tomsknedra”) a project of measures on liquidation of license agreements breaches at a number of areas.
At the territory of Tomsk Region “RussNeft” owns ZAO “Sobolinoye”, as well as the societies which own prosperous oilfields: OOO “Poselkovoye”, “Fediushkinskoye”, “Grushevoye”, “Stolbovoye”, “Duklinskoye”. At the end of 2004 “RussNeft” purchased a Cyprian company “Benodet Investments Limited” which owned license agreements for 7 oilfields in the region
(“Gurarinskoye”, “Yasnoye”, “Yuzhno-Tabaganskoye”, “Solonovskoye”, “Smolianskoye”, Kulbinskoye”, “Bolotnoye”). In June 2005 the company completed the transaction on purchasing 62% of ZAO “Tomskaya Neft” (“Yuzhno-Mylginskopye”, “Verkhne-Salatskoye”, “Rechnoye” oilfields).
