Industrial and environmental safety
Industrial and environmental safety are the priority guidelines in the work of OAO "Saratovneftegaz", a subsidiary of "RussNeft". Today "Saratovneftegaz" carries out much work on implementation of two international standards in the sphere of industrial and environmental safety. Much attention is paid to training of the employees on these directions. The Foreman's Day is celebrated every quarter since this year. Ekaterina Usova visited master-class for the oil workers.
The forthcoming certification of "Saratovneftegaz" in accordance with international standards raises the task level in industrial and environmental safety. The foremen control in this sphere is of primary importance; and the Foreman's Day is organized specially for the management of "Saratovneftegaz".
Andrey Noskov - the First Deputy Director General - Engineering Manager of ОАО "Saratovneftegaz»:
- The event is held twice a quarter. The Foreman's Day is necessary for the promotion of the foreman's role in the process of oil production. The foreman cooperates directly with people, he's responsible for the people, and the level of oil production depends to a large extent on his work.

- It's a very useful and important event, because the supervisors, who are responsible for the human safety and the safety of the working units, communicate with each other, and exchange views.
This time the Foreman's Day took place in Oktyabrskaya oil gathering station. Next time it's planned to visit other production facilities of "Saratovneftegaz", so that the supervisors could see, how the others work. During the day the foremen visited 11 learner's positions. In every place the trainings were given by the Chief Specialists of the enterprise. They gave detailed explanations of various aspects on hazard operability.
Thirty foremen of "Saratovneftegaz" participated in the event. Many of them obtained something new for themselves, some of them reviewed their basic knowledge. A very important thing about this event is the possibility to put questions.
Nikolay Kuvshinov - the Farm boss of Bagayevsky workshop of ОАО "Saratovneftegaz»:
- The Foreman's Day was well organized; everyone gave liable explanations; these trainings are necessary for the upgrade of the foremen, and for their case study.
But it's not a simple training. It has a feedback. The results of this event will be discussed at the next meeting of the foremen. And the results of the Foreman's Days can be viewed in higher production performance.
