Close bonds of generations

It’s not a rare thing when people working at a plant regard it not only as their home but as a member of their families.  The plant becomes the subject of evening talks, people worry about its health, discuss its future – many people can’t imagine their lives without the plant. This is the case with “Orsknefteorgsintez”. People come to work their young and leave it 30-40 years later. But even when retired oil chemists don’t lose touch with their plant: they are always interested in the plant news, they subscribe to the corporate newspaper, take part in many events organized by the plant. In its turn the plant takes good care of its veterans. It is one of the most important trends of the work done by social security department.
The number of retired oil chemists is more than 2.5 thousand – it exceeds the number of people working at ONOS at present (!). And they all know that at any moment they can turn to the Council of veterans for help. Not only by kind words, but by real actions as well. Several times a week a representative of the plant comes to the Council of veterans, collects letters and applications and delivers them to the social security department. The department, in cooperation with trade union, organize material aids, medical assistance, passes to sanatoriums, help to resolve housing problems and many other problems which aged people may face. This year the plant has assigned for urgent needs and extra medical help 418 thousand rubles.

Representatives of the plant and the Council often visit veterans of war and of work at their homes (those who are not feeling  well). Last year they visited 300 people, during the six month of this year – 143 people. By the anniversary of the Great Patriotic War administration of the plant assigns to veterans substantial bonuses – 2000 and 1500 rubles respectively.

The holidays – Defender of the Motherland Day, Victory Day, Aged People Day and other memorial dates are a good reason for such events as meetings, concerts, tea-parties, picnics. And notable days of the plant are the events of special pleasure: to visit the plant, to see the territory clean and adorned, to admire up-to date equipment, computerized operators’ rooms. And after that – a tea-party with the colleagues, warm speeches of the young workers and the administration.

Respect for veterans is not ostentatious, but real. It is quite natural with the workers of the plant, starting from the General Director, V.V.Piliugin, as well as commitment to their work and the plant.  The program of non-governmental pension fund scheme of the employees of “RussNeft” is widely used at ONOS. The company guarantees its employees additional pension money in connection with retirement. In this connection OAO “Orsknefteorgsintez” annually transfers a part of the plant’s salary fund at the National Pension Fund to the joint account of the plant and further the funds are distributed to individual accounts of each participant  of the pension scheme. In the first six months of this year the pensioners of the plant received in addition to their pensions 5 million 161 thousand rubles through non-governmental pension fund.

Oil Chemist day is near. As usual, pensioners will celebrate it together with the workers of the plant. Close ties of the generations, feeling of being protected are the things valued high in our days. And people feel it deeper with every passing day. At “Russneft” and ONOS people understand it well and support by all means.
