At "Orsknefteorgsintez" there were held competitions among the teams of volunteer rescue workers.
Volunteer emergency response teams have appeared in the plant 2 years ago in accordance with the requirements of the Federal law and problems, set up by NK "RussNeft".
The Company and its subsidiaries treat the matters of industrial and work safety with much responsibility. Modernization of production is carried out in accordance with modern demands, and special activities are allocated as much supplies as it's required. Thus, for 2 years there was spent 14 mln 506 thous. Rubles on the supply of the volunteer emergency response teams by the self-contained atmospheric protection equipment and respiratory apparatus.
All this is of great importance, because heavy responsibility devolves on the volunteer emergency response teams. Formation of the volunteer emergency response teams required many sided activities. There was taken into account amount and nature of dangerous and hazardous substances, possible scenarios of the development of the emergency cases.
9 - 11 people from every subdivision of the plant entered the volunteer emergency response teams. Specially trained people must be in every shift. Currently in the volunteer emergency response teams there are employed 211 people.
At ONOS there was carried out a large-scale educational program, on which the Company "RussNeft" invested 1 mln 781 thous. 850 Rubles.
Thus, the lecturers from Novomoskovsky Institute of further trainings for the managers and professionals in oil and gas industry, and representatives from EMERCOM have trained the military students to use individual defence equipment, to carry out gas safety works in the wells, tank vessels and capacity drums. The rescue workers should know how to localize emergency situations, to defend themselves from the sufferers, to carry them out beyond the polluted area and to render them medical emergency treatment.
The competitions allowed to demonstrate, how some divisions of the program were adopted, and to demonstrat the ability to act both in team and individually.
The first prize went to the volunteer emergency response team of processing unit 22 - 4M, the second - to the team of workers from the unit 36-3, and the third - to the rescue team from the unit of chemicals.
The competitions of the kind were held for the first time. But now they should become annual. The Head of the Department for the Industrial and Work Safety, V. I. Panferov, noticed, that such events will master professionalism and the level of instant readiness among the members of the emergency rescue teams.
Of course, everyone fosters a hope, that this knowledge will never be used in practice. But it's very important to know all nuances and to be able to use best efforts, because the price of the matter is too high. And the Management of "RussNeft" understands it entirely, moreover, they do all their best to guarantee safety for the people and the plant.
