General Director of "Orslnefteorsintez" Vladimir Piliugin answers the questions of "Orski Vestnik"
Is production output at "Orsknwefteorgsintez" going to fall in connection with the crisis and, as the consequence of it, do you expect reduction of profit and, due to that, tax assignments (to local budget as well) ?
We are working in accordance with our business-plan for the year 2008, keeping to the same volumes and the same range of products. There is no decrease. The refinery is running at full capacity. Now we are working out the business-plan for the year 2009. As a processing plant, we receive profits from processing of a ton of the product, not from sales, so we don't feel substantial changes.
Will the plant undertake such measures as reduction of working week, working days, leaves without pay etc.?
Our plant is run on the basis of permanent technological cycle. We aren't going to practice such measures as stopping part of the units, reducing working shifts, sending people to leaves without pay. Such measures are not meant for us. They are, most probably, meant for the plants where production output depends directly on the number of workers.
What prospects does "Orsknefteorgsintez" have for future considering the course of the head company?
Speaking about the course means speaking about cost cutting. At present we are ranking investment projects. And going on with upgrading of the plant.
