The minister visited OAO "Orsknefteorgsintez"

Today, within the frames of the regional Information Day,  First Deputy Chairman of the Government, Minister of Economic Development, Industrial Policy and Commerce of Orenburg region Alexandr Kunilovsky and the Head of Orsk Yuri Berg have visited OAO "Orsknefteorgsintez", a subsidiary of Oil & Gas Company "RussNeft".
The public officers met the General Director, middle managers, the trade union chairman and employees of "ONOS". The discussion touched upon the results of social and economic development of Orenburg region for the 9 months of the current year,  functioning of Orsk refinery under difficult economic conditions.
Alexandr Kunilovsky pointed out that the sitution in the region  on the whole has the tendency to stabilizing, due to, among other reasons. rise of oil and metals prices. The reports of  industrial enterprises - the main taxpayers - showed  production output growth and profit-making in the 3rd quarter of the current year. There is a well-grounded hope that this tendency will keep on. The level of unemployment reduced by 30% as compared with the past year.  The government renders support to small-scale business. One of pivotal questions is optimization of tariff policy.
The minister thanked the management and the employees of "Orsknefteorgsintez" for their stable work and underlined that in the contexts of investment programs reduction the plant is not only maintaining, but building up production output. It is also important that "Orsknefteoggsintez" is one of the few companies which managed to preserve almost the whole team without working hours reduction.
Alexandr Kunilovsky pointed out the results of cooperation with "RussNeft":  agrcultutal producers of Orenburg region have saved about 150 million rubles thanks to the agreement between the Government of the Reion and "RussNeft" about reduced proces for fuels and lubricants.
