Sovetsky District is a priority for “Saratovneftegas”.
Saratov. OAO “Saratovneftegas” (integrated in NK “RussNeft”) is celebrating the 55th jubilee from the date of starting development of Stepnpvskoye fas condensate field. The discovery of this field was very important doth for Saratov Region and for the country on the whole – just a few years after development had been started the field produced about 9% of the total volume of gas produced in the USSR.
This field has become the beginning of a new life for Sovetsky Region and its center, Stepnoye village. From then on “Saratovneftegas” discovered new fields at the territory of Sovetsky district, drilled new wells, built facilities, communications, apartment buildings, social objects.
At present Sovetsky District is one of the main recipients of charity help from the oilmen.
This summer children from low-income families received vouchers for staying in a recreational camp of “Saratovneftegas”. The total sum of the vouchers amounted to 350 thousand roubles.
