A year of jubilee for “Saratovneftegas”
Saratov. Last year “Saratovneftegas” (a subsidiary of “RussNeft”) celebrated 60 years from the date of its founding. It is extremely satisfying that in the context of difficult economic environment the leader of regional fuel and energy complex faces the future confidently and fulfils both industrial and social programs successfully.
THE RESULTS OF THE YEAR
Oil production plan in 2009 was overachieved by 3.4%. The volume of investments amounted to 245 million rubles and more than 85 million rubles was invested by "Saratovneftegas" and its subsidiaries in ecological programs and industrial security. The company implemented a number of geological exploration programs, among them - drilling of exploration well No 5 at Luzianinskoye oilfield discovered last year.
“Saratovneftegas” is an active participant of the regional governmental program “Development and use of raw hydrocarbon base for supply pf gas to consumers of Saratov Region”. In accordance with the state strategy of raising gas utilization Saratov oilmen invest in reconstruction of technological objects, supplying gas to residential areas of our region.
In 2009 the company completed reconstruction of Uritskaya and Oktiabrskaya preliminary water removal units as well as oil treatment unit “Griaznushinskaya”. At present Stepnopvskaya gas compressor station is under reconstruction with the purpose of doubling its productivity (from 250 thousand to 500 thousand cbm/day). This station has an important social function: it supplies gas from the gas fields of “Saratovneftegas” to the largest in Europe underground gas storage Stepnopvskoye, Engels HPP, and more than 30 residential areas of Sovetsky, Rovensky and Engelsky districts of Saratov region.
The reconstruction will not only help to raise the volumes of gas supplies to the consumers, but will also substantially raise the level of industrial security of the facilities and contribute to growth of the percentage of associated gas recovery and reduction of gas flaring will contribute to melioration of ecological situation in the areas of production of “Saratovneftegas”
Steady and scrupulous work of the plant’s team was highly appreciated by the company “RussNeft”:
20 employees of “Saratovneftegas” received awards and stimulations from the oil holding at the end of the year 2009.
REGIONAL CHARITY
It is natural that successful production activity be a reliable basis for social activity, that is why the oil men have for many years been the major charity providers in our region. In the departing year "RussNeft" and "Saratovneftegas" assigned 14 million rubles for financing of regional charity programs. Among large scale projects there are numbered organization of summer vacations for 564 children from needy families and orphanages in Saratov and 17 districts of the region,
80 cadets from Saratov, Marx, Stepnoye and Engels took part in field training for cadet schools at the basis of the oilmen's camp "Rovesnik". They were to undergo in marching , training and medical drills, radio-chemical protection drill, to get acquainted with shooting arms, combat machinery and so on.
Besides, the oilmen render help to sport organizations: they assigned 500 thousand rubles for completion of design and estimate documentation for construction of sports and recreation center equipped with a swimming pool in Stepnoye and sponsored children’s football team “Assault” of Fiodorov district and karate-do club “Olymp-99”.
In December the physicians of 5th infectious diseases hospital turned to “Saratovneftgas for help. In connection with growing number of seriously ill patients the hospital became short of inhalers, and the oilmen promptly assigned 150 th0usand rubles for purchasing 12 ultrasonic inhalers.
AT THE EVE OF VICTORY JUBILEE
In 2010 Russia is celebrating the 65th anniversary of Victory. For “Saratovneftgas” it is not only a great date of our history. It was in Saratov that during the years of war Yelshanskoye oilfield was discovered, and it was the beginning of gas industry in the USSR. And during the hardest for the country period,
the peak of the combat for Stalingrad, the people of Saratov built in less than two months the gas pipeline Yelshanka-SarSDPP and it was the solution of the problem of energy supply to the defense plants of Saratov – a front-line city.
“Saratovneftegas” annually arranges money grants for its former employees, organizes honoring for the veterans of war and home front. For example, in October 2009 the company assigned 1.2 million rubles for material support to non-working pensioners for International Day for the Elderly. Charity funds are assigned for Soviets of Veterans of the Region
"Saratovneftegas" is planning for 2010 a number of events connected with the 65-th Victory jubilee.
