OAO "Variogaaneft" is carrying on pilot testing of a two-packer arrangement system at Variogan license area
Raduzhny, KhMAO. Piolt testing of two-packer equipment system is going on at the license area of OAO "Varioganneft" (the structure of OAO NK "RussNeft"). This information was received from the press-service of the company.
Hydrofracturing was performed at idle well 2047 (multi-well platform 86). To insulate the earlier penetrated superjacent highly permeable and highly watered object (formation) БВ-2 the oilmen applied two-packer arrangement system, which enabled them two exclude the costs for repair -and-insulation works and to make the well to function with flow-rate growth of 40 tons/day in the shotrtest possible time.
Pilot testing is going on at well 1478 (multi-well platform 86). In case positive results are confirmed, in order to involve in the development the hard to recover and poorly drained collectors of formation БВ8-01 and poorly permeable collectors of formations БВ-10, ЮВ-2 of the oilfield in the shortest possible time, there will be considered the matter of complex introduction of the system
OAO "Varioganneft" is incorporated in OAO NK "RussNeft". The company is developing 8 oilfields in Khanty-Mansi and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs: Varioganskoye, Kalinovoye, Yuzhno-Kalinovoye, Novo-Aganskoye, Valiuninskoye, Tagrinskoye, Zapadno-Varioganskoye, Yuzhno-Yarainerskoye. As of 1.01.2010 their net effective pay was assessed as 174 million tons. Annual production level of the company in 2009 equalled 2 million 286 thousand tons.
