OAO “Orsknefteorgsintez” is implementing a program of development of water treatment systems.
Orsk. OAO “Orsknefteorgsintez”, a subsidiary of “Russneft”, is implementing a program of upgrading and development of water treatment systems. Oil chemists systematically introduce new equipment and technologies improving Orsk water environment.
The work of two processing units for oil sludge recycling produced by firms “Flottveg” and “Alpha-Laval” permits to send for recycling all the wastes of the treatment process. Thus, 11356,588 tons of oil sludge was captured and sent for recycling by ONOS in 2009. 5744,849 tons of captured oil was produced from the recycled oil sludge at the refinery in 2009.
The second stage of flotation unit was put into action two years ago at ONOS which permitted to reduce oil content in waste waters 5 times – from 25mg/l to 5-7mg/l. Annually about 40 tons of oil containing products is captured and sent for recycling.
“Russneft” invested more than 23 mln.rub. into ONOS environment protection measures in 2009. The risks of emergency situations connected with human factors and the load of biological sewage treatment plants of the town have been reduced. In 2010 the work in this direction will be continued within the framework of ecological program.
