"Varioganneft" supports indigenous population of KhMAO-Yugra.

The press-service of the company reported that according to valid contracts of use of the ground areas which are in the territory of traditional nature management of the local population the companies paid compensations (at the rate of one member of a family), paid  municipal expenses, delivered  combustive-lubricating materials, handed over the boat engine and overalls to patrimonial families.

Besides, every year "Varioganneft" gratuitously purchases tourist vouchers to health resorts ofKrasnodar region for heads of patrimonial grounds and their families. This year is not an exception. The company has already purchased sanatorium tourist vouchers to one of sanitary institutions of Anapa for Boris Aivaseda's family. Attendance of sporting events and national holiday events by official representatives of "Varioganneft" which are held in the national village – Variogan – has become a heart-warming tradition.

       Care about the local population living on the territory of autonomous region for years is a crucial issue of the industrial and economic activities of "Varioganneft". Assisting in creation of worthy living conditions of the smaller peoples of the North oilmen realize that their purpose is not only to produce hydrocarbons, but also to provide the future of the area and for indigenous people of KhМАО. Such activities will take place in future.

OAO "Varieganneft" is a subsidiary of OAO NK "RussNеft". The company develops eight oilfields in KhMAO and in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District including Variegansk, Kalinovoe, Yuzhno-Kalinovoe, Novo-Aganskoe, Valuninskoe, Tagrinskoe, Zapadno-Varioganskoe and Uyzhno-Yaraynerskoe.  Recoverable reserves are estimated at 174 million tons. The yearly output rate of the company in 2009 was 2 million 286 thousand tons.
