ОАО “Ulianovskneft” carrying on preliminary works for production and exploration drilling in 2011
Ulianovsk. ОАО “Ulianovskneft” , a producing subsidiary of OAO NK “RussNeft”, is carrying on preliminary works at well-pads for drill units for 15 production wells at 9 oilfields.
Alongside with exploration wells drilling OAO “Ulianovskneft” is going to resolve the problems of replacement of oil reserves at new license blocks. Thus, at Pavlovsky livense area the company is planning to conduct exploration and appraisal drilling of 2 wells, at Truevsky license area there will l be drilled one well. The aim of drilling exploration and appraisal drilling is to confirm oil deposits within the limits of uplifts discovered in the course of seismic works.
In 2011 “Ulianovskneft” is planning to drill 3 exploration wells at Rudnevskoye, Novolabitovskopye and Severo-Zimnitskoye oilfields. For each of the wells its is expected that the oil reserves be transfered from C2 category to C1 category. Besides, CDP method 3D seismic works will be going on at Novolabitovskoye and Baranovskoye oilfields.
