"Varioganneft” increases the volumes of production drilling.
Raduzhny, KhMAO. In 2011 OAO “Varioganneft” is planning to triple the volume of production drilling at the oilfields of Variogan area. The company has already launched the process of drilling of new production wells at Tagrinskoye, Zapadno0Varioganskoye and Valiuninskoye oilfields.
At Tagrinskoye oilfield production drilling is being continied from the beginning of the year at well-pad 133 to the project layer Ach-2, the reserves of which account for 70% of the total reserves of the oilfield. Besides, in 2011 OAO “Varioganneft” started rig-up operations in order to begin drilling wells for new well-pad No 404.
At Zapadno-Varioganskoye oilfield last year there were drilled three horizontal wells, launch flow rate of one of them amounted to 1012 tons, and in this connection a decision was made to go on drilling the southern part of the second dome of the oilfield. At present OAO “Varioganneft” is carrying on production drilling works at the northern part of the main deposit of the formation ЮВ1 and БВ10 of Zapadno-Varioganskoye oilfield, said the press-service of the company.
Resumption of production drilling of six wells at Valiuninskoye has become one of the most important events at the company in 2011. After finishing production drilling works the company is planning to start drilling an exploration well and core sampling for laboratory analysis with the aim to determine increment of the reserves of the oilfield.
