“Varioganneft” will allocate 118 million rubles to improvement of ecological state of environment at oilfields
Raduzhniy. KhMAO. OAO “Varioganneft” in 2011 will allocate 118 million rubles to improvement of ecological state of environment at oilfields of Variogan oil block, the press-service of the enterprise informed.
Within the frames of carrying out environmental protection measures the enterprise plans works on recultivation of oil pollution of lands and sludge pits, utilization of oil sludge and carrying out environmental monitoring for each licensed area. “Varioganneft” plans to allocate 36 million rubles to the abovementioned activities.
To avoid the root causes of oil pollution of oilfields (pipe leaks and near misses at engineering pipelines) the enterprise annually carries out industrial safety examination on the most important sections of the pipeline, that allows to timely decommission pipelines with wall thickness from below critical limits. In 2011 it is planned to allocate 64 million rubles to carry out examination.
In order to reduce corrosion on pipelines OAO “Varioganneft” in 2011 plans to purchase effective corrosion inhibitors in the amount of 18 million rubles. These inhibitors will reduce the number of possible incidents and pipe leaks at oilfields.
