OAO “Belkamneft” has started seismic 3D operations at Novoselkinskoye oilfield
Izhevsk. OAO “Belkamneft”, a subsidiary of OAO “NK”RussNeft”, has started seismic 3D operations at Novoselkinskoye oilfield. Total amount of works equals to 90 square kilometers.
Research using modern telemetric systems will allow to get maximum reliable data on the geological structure of hydrocarbons and prospective zones, and further to develop an effective program of exploration and production drilling over the next years.
Commercial exploration of Novoselkinskoye oilfield has been conducted since 2002. Initial recoverable reserves C1+C2 amount to 2.6 mln. tons of oil.
In accordance with the program of geological exploration works, accepted by OAO “NK ”RussNeft”, the current year seismic 3D operations will be carried out at Zolotarevskoye, Korobovskoye, Polomskoye and Pibanshurskoye oilfields of the company. Altogether in 2011 OAO “NK ”RussNeft” plans to allocate 123.7 mln. rub. to seismic exploration operations in the territory of Udmurtiya and Kirov region.
