OAO “Varioganneft” is implementing the program of geological engineering operations at the oilfields of Variogan oil block.

The whole set of gуological and enigneering operation is aimed  at oil recovery enhancement. During the five months of the current year at the oilfields of Variogan block 1.145 tons of oil  was produced, which exceeds the target figure by 11.226 thousand tons (1%).
Overachievement of the target is the result of drilling of 15 new wells and performing of various GEOs. During the 5 monthe of this year at the Variogan block of oilfields there were performed 5 RHF, 5 wells were transferred to pressure maintenance, the works on returning of 13 wells to other horizons and re-activation of 32 wells are completed. The basic well stock was also upgraded. During the 5 months the oilmen carried out ooptimization of mode of working at 11 wells, at 28 wells bottom-hole acidizing was performed.
On the whole the plans of the enterprize for 2011 contemplate 484 GEOs, including drilling of 35 new wells. Implementation of the planned GEOs will have given to OAO “Varioganneft” 644 thousand tons of oil even before the end of the year.
