OAO "Varioganneft" successfully implements the program of horizontal drilling in Variogan oil field
Raduzhny, KhMAO. In August this year ОАО «Varioganneft» has started implementation of horizontal drilling project in Variogan license area.
Today production drilling is being carried out in two well pads of Variogan oil field. On the well pad №210 there was drilled pilot borehole №2421. The same work is being realized on the borehole № 2228 of well pad №103. Positive results make it possible to think about the long-term prospects of Variogan oil field.
The next stage of the drilling project in Variogan will become drilling of horizontal holes.
By the end of the year, in Variogan oil field it’s planned to drill 4 new horizontal holes, daily production rate of each would be 95 tons.
For seven months of the year the enterprise has already put into operation 19 new wells on the territory of Variogan block of fields, 2 of them are with horizontal hole.
