The charitable program of ОАО NК "RussNeft" in the region – in action
Saratov. In the children’s health-improving camp “Rovesnik”, owned by OAO “Saratovneftegaz” (a subsidiary enterprise of OAO NK “RussNeft”), there arrived mobile complex of information-and-library services “Great opportunities for Russia’s heartland”. This unique XXI century “reading room on the wheels” has been purchased for the Saratov Regional Universal Research Library - one of the oldest in the Volga Region. It became possible due to the increase in expenses for the charitable program of ОАО NК "RussNeft" from the personal finances of the President of the Company, Mikhail Gutseriev.
The cost of the mobile complex (the only one in the Saratov region) is 6 million Rubles. Along with the latest technology for internet access, “bibliomobil” (the mobile complex of information-and-library services) is equipped with the autonomous electric power plant, modern multimedia equipment and the projection screen, as well as all necessary office equipment, convenient fold-flat furniture, spacious bookshelves and air conditioner. Besides, the mobile complex of information-and-library services has a compact slide-out, dual-use platform: it can be used as a hoisting unit for the wheelchairs to facilitate access to the mobile library complex by the readers with disabilities, and it can also be used as a mini-stage to hold entertaining outdoor activities.
A rich, constantly updated collection of publications gives an opportunity to introduce both young and adult book lovers with the home and foreign literature during the travels of the mobile library complex to the remote places of the Saratov Region.
Educational program prepared by the staff of the Regional Scientific Library aroused a keen interest of the children, who are having rest in the camp "Rovesnik". This time the meeting was dedicated to the 50th anniversary of space flight by Yuri Gagarin. Illustrated books and albums devoted to the first ever space flight and the further outer space exploration were presented to the children during the first arrival of the mobile library complex to the camp “Rovesnik” in the beginning of September. The children saw with great pleasure the film about celebration of the Cosmonautics Day, and got acquainted with the recondite facts from the biographies of the cosmonauts, whose lives are allied to the Saratov Region.
Oil and gas company "RussNeft" and its subsidiary enterprise ОАО "Saratovneftegaz" are among the major benefactors of the Saratov region. Social investments encompass a significant part of the province - the regional center and all the 14 districts of the production activity of OAO "Saratovneftegas." The priorities in the charity sphere coincide with the national projects: education, public health and agriculture. Financial assistance is directed, in particular, in the spheres, which lack the budgeting funds - in schools, kindergartens, municipal hospitals, units providing medical assistance in the villages, boarding schools, cultural institutions, sports organizations.
Until the end of 2011 OAO NK "RussNeft", its subsidiary and affiliated enterprises in accordance with the signed Cooperation Agreement concluded between the Government of the Saratov Region and OAO NK “RussNeft” will direct about 20 million Rubles for realization of social and economic programs, charitable and sponsorship projects on the territory of the region.
