The enterprises of NK "RussNeft" have rendered assistance to the orthodox communities of Nizhnevartovsk District
Nizhnevartovsk District, KhMAO. More than 270 thousand Rubles were transferred by ОАО MPC "Aganneftegazgeologia" and ОАО "Mokhtikneft" (the subsidiary enterprises of NК "RussNeft") to the Nativity Church (Nizhnevartovsk) and the Church of St. Germogen the Martyr (the village of Novoagansk).
As it was reported to "UralInformBureau" in press-service of ОАО MPC "Aganneftegazgeologia", the oil workers have directed their beneficent help for the organization of Christmas festivities, purchase of gifts and prizes for the foster children of Sunday schools of Nizhnevartovsk and Novoagansk Churches. Today these Sunday schools are attended by more than 200 children, and Christmas festivities are annually held with the support of the oil companies.
One of the priorities of the charitable activities of West Siberian enterprises of NК "RussNeft" is the preservation and revival of religious traditions, cultural heritage and Orthodoxy. In 2010 "Aganneftegazgeologia" and ST ZAO "Goloil" allocated 1 million rubles for the purposes of the Nativity Church and the Church of St. Germogen the Martyr.
This year 1 million 245 thousand rubles was allocated by ОАО MPC "Aganneftegazgeologia", ОАО "Mokhtikneft" and ООО SP "Chernogorskoye" to the Nativity Church, the Church of St. Germogen the Martyr and the Church of St. John of Kronshtadt (Raduzhny) for the development of Orthodox education, support of classical schools and Sunday schools in Nizhnevartovsk and the village of Novoagansk, and also for the construction of Sunday school in Raduzhny.
