"Varioganneft" has successfully implemented the program on well interventions in 2011.
Raduzhny, KhMAO. In 2011 ОАО «Varioganneft» has successfully implemented the program on well interventions aimed at the enhanced oil recovery in the fields of Variogan oil block. In as little as 11 months, in the fields of ОАО «Varioganneft» and the enterprises, to which the company provides operator’s services, there was carried out 323 well interventions (on the whole, this figure is estimated to be 340 well interventions).
Following the results of 11 months, in the Variogan block of fields there was carried out 17 well interventions, 11 wells are converted to formation pressure maintenance, there was carried our recompletion of 45 wells and reopening of 5 wells. The basic well stock remained unchanged either. For the eleven months of the current year in 36 wells there was conducted operation optimization, in 46 wells the bottom-hole formation zone was acidized.
As reports the press-service of the company, the realization of well intervention program had a significant impact on the increase of raw hydrocarbons volumes of extraction. For the eleven months of the year in the fields of the Variogan block there was produced 2619,539 thousand tons of oil, which exceeds the corresponding figures for the year by 389,4 thousand tons (+ 17,5).
In 2012 ОАО «Varioganneft» will continue to implement the program on well interventions. Due to well interventions, next year it’s planned to produce 340 thousand tons of oil.
