In 2012 Varioganneft is going to assign about 18 million rubles for implementation of charity and sponsoring program.

This includes 10 million rubles for payments under obligations in accordance with economic agreements signed with the Administrative Bodies of the territories where the subsidiary of “RussNeft” operates.  Another sum of 6.5 million rubles  will be assigned for compensation payments to indigenous peoples of the North. The allowances to the heads of indigenous tribes are performed on the basis of federal and regional laws and model agreements signed with each of the families practicing traditional lifestyle. The funds are allocated for purchasing fuels and lubricants, building materials, boats and outboard engines, snowmobiles, workwear, autonomous power stations etc.
Apart from payments under obligations OAO Varioganneft annually sponsors implementation of charity and socially oriented projects at the territory of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area. In 2012 the subsidiary of RussNeft assigned 1.2 million rubles for these needs. One of the priorities of social policy of the Company is cooperation with Regional Sponsor Fund “We give our hearts to children”. Its principal activity is connected with rendering help to oncologic children. Besides,  the  Company sponsors educational, cultural and sportive  institutions, town organizations of  war invalids and veterans, the Orthodox Church.
Implementation of the charity and sponsoring program is one of the priorities of the social policy of OAO NK RussNeft and its subsidiaries. OAO NK RussNeft is planning further sponsoring of socially oriented projects, implemented at the territory of Yugra.
