Aganneftegazgeologiya will congratulate the veterans with the Victory Day.

04.05.2012 “Moskovsky komsomolets Yugra”

Nizhnevartovsk region, KhMAO. On the eve of May 9, OAO MPK Aganneftegazgeologiya (subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft) will congratulate its former employees – veterans of the Great Patriotic War. Victory Day greetings, flowers and financial allowances will be given to all the veterans regardless their residence.

This is not just a tradition or part of the corporate program for supporting the veterans, but also a tribute to the heroic winners. Today, there are only eight  witnesses of the past war among the retired employees of the company: workers of the rear areas, widows of veterans, former minor prisoners of the fascist camps and immediate participants of the military actions. Among those are famous front-line fighters who eventually became famous geologists and oilmen – laureates of state awards for both the victory in World War II and the long-term work in exploration and development of the oil fields in the West Siberia.

The celebratory greetings are not the only form of regard given by OAO MPK ANNG to its retired employees and veterans. Within its charity program the company funds social organizations associating former employees of the fuel and energy industry of the West Siberia.

These are the Board of the war and labor veterans of the Northern enterprises of Tyumengeologiya and Khanty-Mansiysk Yugra community social organization. 400,000 rubles were allocated for financial assistance to the veterans social associations in 2011. The tradition to help veterans will be continued this year.
