Rostekhnadzor officially re-registered license of OAO Saratovneftegaz to operate fire and explosion dangerous production facilities

In the course of consideration of application materials there was carried out a large-scale preliminary conformance inspection of the licensee to the legislative requirements in this field. The inspection certificate has shown that all the equipment and production methods of OAO Saratovneftegaz fully comply with the requirements of Federal legislation in the field of industrial safety and the fire and explosion hazard protection standards, regulated by the RF Government Ordinance. These requirements are confirmed by Rostekhnadzor Compliance List.
Due to incorporation in OAO Saratovneftegaz of production facilities, having Industrial Safety Declarations, the authority to review and issue licenses belongs to the central office of Rostekhnadzor. This greatly increases the responsibility for the state of the facilities and the quality of documents.
Previously, the license for operation of fire explosive and production facilities was provided for 5 years. Now, under the federal law № 99-FZ, validity of the license is permanent, and this is particularly important because it is a mandatory document for production activities at hazardous production facilities. The absence of the license or the expiration of its validity would have been sufficient grounds for discontinuation of business activity of the subsidiary due to the possible hazard to the surrounding buildings and people's lives. 

Ensuring of accident free and safe operation of production facilities in operating activity is one of the priorities in the work of Saratovneftegaz being a subsidiary enterprise of OAO NK RussNeft. Investments in environmental protection and industrial safety are increasing steadily. Particular attention is paid to technical upgrading, provision of workers with safety clothes, footwear, and personal protective equipment. The enterprise carries out purposeful work on the replacement of worn-out pipelines, oil sludge disposal, soil reclamation and reduction of the harmful effects of industrial activity on the environment as a whole.
