OAO Varioganneft is implementing the energy saving and energy efficiency rise program at the oil fields of Variogan block

The set of actions includes conversion of the wells equipped with electric submersible pumps and heating cables to sucker-rod pumping units. In the first six months of this year change-over of the equipment enabled to disconnect and dismount 5 heating cables total capacity 200 kW, and the resulting power saving amounted to 144000Kwh per month. According to the results of the actions implemented within the frames of the declared program during the expired period of 2012 Variogannneft managed to restrict  injection at 5 injection wells which permitted to save up to 248 888 kWh per months.
OAO Varioganneft is going to continue implementation of the main trends  of the energy saving and energy efficiency rise program. The company is planning to introduce coated tubing strings at 3 wells of Variogan block of oilfields and installation of  a reactive power compensation unit at a switching station 35/6kW.

The company is planning to pay special attention to rational use of electric power in future too.
