"Chetviortaya vlast”
Saratov. OAO Saratovneftegaz, a subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, granted direct Charity Aid in connection to the start of the new academic year to educational institutions of all the 13 municipal districts of Saratov region, where the company operates. All the funds transferred are aimed at events, dedicated to the start of the new academic year.
Every district administration was given an opportunity to decide on their own about the expenditure purposes: souvenir presents for the teachers and first-grade students, organization of ceremonial events and concerts, direct financial support and events in honor of the retired workers and awarding ceremonies of the best representatives of this profession, etc.
This campaign is just a small part of a massive charity program that OAO NK RussNeft and OAO Saratovneftegaz duly implement on the territories where they operate. Big financial support is offered to social objects, which traditionally suffer under the circumstances of budget shortages: day-care nurseries and school institutions, hospitals, recreation centers, sports clubs. For example, in July Staropoltavsky district center of the municipal district of the Volgograd region witnessed the opening of a universal gym. Construction of the gym was funded by OAO Saratovneftegaz (a subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft). Charity capital, issued by the oil companies even in 2010 permitted to order design and estimate documentation of the modern sports center. In 2011 within its charity program implementation OAO Saratovneftegaz transferred another 500 thousand RUB for development of the swimming pool design and estimate documentation in the same village of Staraya Poltavka, the building of which is about to start in the nearest time.
In the course of 2011 in compliance with the Agreement of Cooperation signed between the Government of the Saratov region and OAO NK RussNeft, the Company, its subsidiaries and the affiliated companies transferred in total the amount of 20 million RUB for the implementation of socio-economical programs, charity and sponsor projects on the territory of the region. This year this amount remains the same.
