Aganneftegazgeologia completes commissioning of a gas piston plant in Mokhtikovskoe field

The project is implemented under the program for utilization of the associated gas produced in the fields of the company.

According to OAO MPK ANGG press-service communication to UralInformBuro, civil construction has been completed; uniform automation system for process parameters control, fire alarm and gas detection has been installed. Electrical power commercial metering automation system installation has been completed. Communication channels and control loops have been tested. Within the near future, the plant will undergo a test under Mokhtikovskoe field machine pool direct load.

Construction of the gas piston plant commenced in 2011. The design provided for 7 GE Jenbacher power modules operating on associated gas. Based on expert estimates, the plant will cover the electrical power demand of the oil production.

15.6 km gas pipeline from Mokhtikovskoe field CPF to Zapadno-Poludennoe field gas turbine power plant was previously constructed in Mokhtikovskoe field jointly with Tomskneft VNK. Operation of these facilities at the design capacities will allow Aganneftegazgeologia to utilize up to 95% of the associated gas produced in the field.
