Nizhne-Shapshinskoe field modular compressor station commissioning near completion
Khanty-Mansiysk. Commissioning at Nizhne-Shapshinskoe field modular compressor station (BKS) is close to completion at the OAO NK RussNeft subsidiary OAO NAK AKI-OTYR. The works are performed within the APG Effective Use Maintenance Programme in collaboration with ZAO YugraGazProcessing (OOO Monolit subsidiary). The joint project would provide 95% of the APG utilization by the end of 2012.
Modular compressor station contains 3 compressor units together with glycolic drying unit with the general capacity of 190 mln cm per year. Modular compressor station is equipped in compliance with modern international standards. High-leveled automatic equipment and fire protection allow full automatic operation of the facility significantly decreasing the human-factor risks.
Now modular compressor station operates in testing mode and supplies gas from Verkhne-Shapshinskoe field booster compressor station first separation stages and Nizhne-Shapshinskoe field oil treatment unit. Dry gas goes to the gas processing plant of Salymskoe field (OOO MONOLIT, OAO NK RussNeft, Salym Petroleum Development) and then it is brought back to the gas piston power plant as lean gas for the electrical power production needs of OAO NAK AKI-OTYR.
Commission of his facility will follow investment policy of RussNeft, aimed at full utilization of the produced oil APG.
