Aganneftegasgeologia put into operation a gas piston power station
Nizhnevartovsky district, KhMAO. OAO MPC Aganneftegasgeologia (a subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft put into operation a gas piston power station at Mokhtikovskoye oilfield.
The project was implemented within the frames of the program of utilization of associated petroleum gas produced at the oilfields of the joint stock company.
Construction of the gas piston power station began in 2011. Since that time the company has built at the territory of Mokhtikovskoye oilfield a 6.4 MW gas energy complex. It encompassed 7 GE Janbacher JGC-420 DS-SL units with maximal electric capacity of 1039 KW each, a 1000 KW reserve Diesel power station, a closed distribution device, a fuel gas treatment unit, a fuel storing and discharge point, process control system, automatic revenue metering system, operator’s room.
Some time ago at Mokytikovskoye oilfield the company in cooperation with OAO Tomskneft VNK built and put into operation the gas pipeline “CPF Of Mokhtikovskoye oilfield – Gas turbine power station of Zapadno-Poludennoye oilfield”, 15.6 rm long.
Implementation of this complex project will permit to meet the oilfield’s needs for electric power, as well as utilize 95% of associated petroleum gas produced at the oilfield.
