Federal Agency for Subsoil Usage prolonged for OAO NAC Aki-Otyr the period of usage of Shapsha group of oilfields

The following amendments to the licenses were made and registered. The period of validity of the licenses for geological survey, oil and gas prospection and production  within the boundaries of Verkhne-Shapshinskoye and Sredne-Shapshinskoye  oilfields shall be prolonged up to January 30, 2034, within the boundaries of Nizhne-Shapshinskoye license area – up to January 30, 2039. OAO NK RussNeft numbers development of Shapsha group of oilfields among the projects strategically important for the Company. Acreage of the area makes 1680 km2. Hydrocarbons net effective pay amounts to more than 88 million tons.
