Saratov. Construction of a unique kindergarten for 320 children in Yubileiny is one of the most significant charitable projects of OAO NK RussNeft currently implemented in Saratov with a purpose of social infrastructure development.
As early as in 2011, Mikhail Gutseriev, President of OAO NK RussNeft, decided to allocate considerable funds for construction of this kindergarten in one of the youngest and perspective districts of the regional center. In the meantime, the first stone was solemnly laid in the foundation of the eventual important social facility with participation of the management of the oil company.
In accordance with the agreement between OAO NK RussNeft and Saratov municipal administration and the approved funding schedule, the first part of the charitable funds was already transferred to the Saratov Volzhsky district administration bank account in October 2012.
Foundation construction is currently in active progress at the work site. The complex will comprise three two-storey buildings for 4, 5 and 6 groups of children respectively. There will be a swimming pool there and two gymnastic courts and 15 playgrounds outdoors equipped with minor architectural forms. Completion of the construction is scheduled for Q4 2013.
This project is a part of a large-scale charitable program which is systematically implemented by OAO NK RussNeft and its production subsidiary OAO Saratovneftegaz in the areas of their operation. Significant material aid is given to the social sphere facilities inherently suffering from budget allocation shortages: kindergartens, schools, hospitals, cultural centers, sport clubs.
For instance, a universal gymnasium was opened in Volgograd region Staropoltavsky municipal district center in July 2012. It was built with financial participation of OAO Saratovneftegaz. Considerable charitable funds were allocated to Saratov municipal district for restoration of Rybushka leisure activities municipal center in May 2012. A cultural center was recently solemnly opened in Ivanovo-Yazakovka village of Saratov region Atkar district based on a local club which was closed for 6 years and then renovated with essential material assistance from RussNeft to open hospitably its doors to the local residents.
The Company and its subsidiaries allocated around 20 million rubles overall in 2012 for implementation of the social-economic programs, charitable and sponsorship projects in Saratov region as per the Cooperation Agreement executed between Saratov region Government and OAO NK RussNeft.
