About 2000 RussNeft specialists got supplementary professional training in Saratov in 2012
Saratov. 1807 RussNeft specialists got supplementary professional training in the training center of OAO Saratovneftegaz (OAO NK RussNeft subsidiary) last year. In 2012 the total number of trained specialists, including workers from external companies and organizations exceeded 4.5 thousand people.
Training center Saratovnedra is a private educational institution for supplementary professional education, its founder is OAO Saratovneftegaz. It educates specialists and workers for professions, which are popular in oil-and-gas and building industries. According to Education license, issued by Education Ministry of Saratov region, at present the private educational center for supplementary education Saratovnedra trains employees of OAO Saratovneftegaz and its subsidiaries as well as specialists from more than 100 companies in Saratov region for 75 blue-collar professions and refresher courses.
The educational center has not only highly qualified teachers, but also all the necessary equipment for providing high-grade education. Particularly its lecture halls and classrooms are equipped with modern media equipment and unique 3D-simulators.
Major educational programs of Saratovnedra are blue-collar professions (assistant-driller, driller for electric rotary drilling and major workover, oil and gas production operator, truck, overhead and tower crane operator, rigger, electrician, farm boss, tool pusher, workover foreman, boiler-room operator, arc welder); HSE, electrical and construction safety, fire hazard and hazardous transportation basics and mining standards training for managers and specialists.
Major long-term customers of Saratovnedra already are OAO NK Saratovneftegeofizika, OAO Transmash, branches of OOO Gazprom UGS, ZAO PO Volga-Neft, branches of Russian Railways in Volga Region, branches of RAO Unified Energy System of Russia and job centers of Saratov region.
Moreover the joint educational project of OAO NK RussNeft and Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, initiated by President of the Company Mikhail Gutseriev, is ongoing at Saratovnedra for 3 years already. Founded in 2010 Saratov regional training center is one of the most prestigious oil-and-gas universities in Russia. It should be mentioned that the payment for pre-university training of the eleventh graders (besides children of OAO Saratovneftegaz and OAO Ulyanovskneft employees, there are medalists and top graduates from schools located in metropolitan districts of both Volga regions of RussNeft presence) and payment for their further education at the University are made by OAO NK RussNeft. Last year 16 graduates from Saratov and Ulyanovsk schools became freshmen at the university on gratuitous basis. Today 34 former students of Volga (Saratov city) and West Siberian (Raduzhniy city) regional training centers are now freshmen and sophomores at the university.
