Varioganneft "implements programs of exploration and production drilling on the Variogan block
Raduzhny, KhMAO. OAO Varioganneft, a subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft in 2013 continues the programs of exploration and development drilling in the oilfields of Variogan block. In its framework 16 new wells will be drilled at the license areas of Variogan oil block, which will produce an additional amount of oil of 263.5 thousand tons
On Tagrinskoye field drilling of 2 wells was completed - slant well number 50087 on pad № 107 and horizontal well № 5005 at well pad number 64. The length of horizontal section, which penetrated formation BV5, equals 497 m
Currently, the company is continuing exploration and development drilling at the north of the main deposit formation ЮВ1 and БВ10 of Zapadno-Varioganskoye oil field. In this field exploratory drilling of well number 260 and core sampling for laboratory studies is carried out to increase the reserves of the field. Besides, in January 2013, on the well pad number 199 drilling of directional well № 50043 was commenced. Development drilling at the Zapadno-Varioganskoye oil field is expected to provide by the end of 2013 incremental oil production in amount of about 123.6 thousand tons.
Implementation of exploration and development drilling programs at the oilfields of Variogan block will permit to maintain a steady upward trend in oil production and all production figures.
