Khanty-Mansiysk. OAO NAK Aki-Otyr (subsidiary of RussNeft (RTS: RUSN) in Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous district) plans to produce over 1.5 million tons of oil in 2013.
The company intends to produce 118.7 thousand tons of oil at Peschanoe field over this year and the rest will be produced at the fields of Shapshinskaya group. According to the company’s data, such digits are comparable with the outputs at those fields last year.
Aki-Otyr scheduled seven producing wells with overall length of 19.6 thousand meters and a number of well interventions at Peschanoe field in 2013. The works will be performed within the infrastructure upgrade program.
Three wells have been drilled so far. The flow rate of the first was 50 tons per day which is almost a double of the expected digit.
The initial developer of Peschanoe field was ZAO Archneftegeologia, subsidiary of RussNeft. Aki-Otyr took over in March 2012 after ZAO Archneftegeologia was liquidated under the corporate structure optimization.
Aki-Otyr also develops Shapshinskaya group fields including Verkhne-Shapshinsky, Sredne-Shapshinsky and Nizhne-Shapshinsky license areas with total recoverable hydrocarbons reserves of 98 million tons.
RussNeft had previously informed that it planned to increase the Shapshinskaya group output by 7% up to 1.5 million tons in 2013 against 2012.
