OAO Ulyanovskneft starts up a new high-rate well at Rudnikovskoe field
Ulyanovsk. OAO Ulyanovskneft, OAO NK RussNeft subsidiary, has started up a new producing well No. 4 at Rudnikovskoe field under the 2013 drilling program.
The well’s current production rate is 89 tons of oil per day, which is a significant achievement of the company given the average production daily rate in the region of around 10 tons.
Rudnevskoe field was opened in 2002. It was put into development in 2003. The actual stock of wells comprises 4 wells. 31,977 tons of oil were produced in 2012.
OAO Ulyanovskneft intends to drill 12 new wells overall in 2013. According to preliminary estimates, the drilling program in 2013 will ensure addition of 83,198 tons of oil for the company.
