Varioganneft will continue implementing energy efficiency increase programme at the fields of Variogan block in 2013
Raduzhny, KhMAO. RussNeft subsidiary, OAO Varioganneft will continue implementing energy saving and energy efficiency increase programme at the fields of Variogan oil block.
The company implemented the energy saving programme successfully in 2012, saving 32.7 mln rub.
The energy saving activities performed in Q1 2013 involved shutdown of non-efficient wells with the total power consumption of 622 kW, improvement of electrical centrifugal pump parameters, reactive power compensation at Tagrinskoye field pads, saving 696 TkW per hour in the amount of more than 2 mln rub.
Varioganneft will continue implementation of principal directions of the energy saving and energy efficiency increase programme by the end of 2013, incl. shutdown of non-efficient wells, conversion of ESP and heat tracing wells into rod pump wells; introduction of liner tubing; application of reactive power compensation installations, introduction of VSD as well as changing and reconstruction of the electrical equipment which will allow saving 6 820 TkW per hour for the amount of 22 mln rub.
The company plans to devote special attention to the ratio energy utilization.
