Varioganneft processes over 6 000 m3 of drill cuttings
Raduzhny, KhMAO. OAO Varioganneft, OAO NK RussNeft subsidiary,will continue the works targeted at drill cuttings management, reclamation of cutting pits and oil polluted lands at the fields of Variogan oil block.
The joint stock company will allocate 114.54 mln rub. to perform these works.
In Q2 and Q3 2013 the company intends to close up two drill cuttings pits at Tagrinskoye and one at Varioganskoye fields. The processing of the drill cuttings will be also performed at Valyuninskoye and Novo-Aganskoye fields. The total amount of the processed drill cuttings will reach 6061 m3.
The works on reclamation of oil polluted areas at Varioganskoye and Tagrinskoye fields will be continued in 2013. The total space of the reclamated oil polluted areas will make up 12.5 ha.
It is intended to allocate above 128 mln rub. to funding the activities within the programme of environment improvement at the oilfields of Variogan oil block in 2013.
The company will continue to secure adherence to the regulations of the allowed impact on the environment in 2013. Fulfillment of the ecological management targets in compliance to the requirements of the international standards ISO 140001: 2004 as well as implementing the programme of environment improvement at the fields of Variogan oil block remain to be the priority directions environmental activity of OAO Varioganneft.
