Saratovneftegaz had fire-fighting training

The petroleum products gathering station "Kolotovka" (Saratov region) chosen as the venue of the training. According to the scenario,  the body of one of the loading station oil tanks was "damaged", which resulted in a “leak of oil” and its "inflammation." Localization of the conventional "fire" was provided by the members of the VFD of JV "Kolotovka" of "Saratovneftegaz." Subsequently, despite the active operation of the VFD , the fire "spread" on the oil tank with oil and threatened the  neighboring tank. the fire brigade guard number 5 (Saratov) of the Federal Fire Service of the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in the Saratov region, arrived to  help the VFD accepting the "first strike" as well as the duty guard of separate post number 11 (the village of Krasny Textilshchik) of the regional fire service. The firemen applied foamers  and simultaneous cooling of the closely set tanks with powerful jets of water and the  conventional fire was "extinguished" by the joint forces. .
One of the main tasks of the training  was to drill  issues of interaction between the divisions of "Saratovneftegaz" and the federal and regional fire departments in case of emergency situations at hazardous production facilities of the company. Such systematic training are designed to secure and maintain the readiness and the coherence of the fire departments of the Main Directorate of the Russian MOE in the Saratov region and personnel of volunteer fire brigades (VFD) at production plants , treatment and transportation of oil and gas companies for fire-fighting and rescue operations. OAO NK "RussNeft", which incorporates OAO "Saratovneftegaz," numbers safety of the workplace among  absolute priorities. The management of OAO NK "RussNeft" is convinced that none of the production goals can be achieved if the process of achieving it hurt people or the environment.
