OAO "NAC "AKI-OTYR "continues implementation of environmental programs

Khanty-Mansiysk. OAO "NAC" AKI-OTYR", a producing subsidiary of OAO NK" RussNeft housed training for managers and professionals whose work is related to environmental security at the enterprise. The training courses are organized according to the requirements of the Federal branch legislation.

Within three weeks the  teachers of  South Ural State University  were introducing the  students to the issues of environmental management systems organization. The training program included all the aspects of operations  ensuring environmental safety, among them, the requirements for waste management, enforcement of environmental laws and the responsibility for violation thereof.
Appraisals were  the logical conclusion of the training process. After successful completion of practical exercises and tests, all students received a certificate of training.
Training of managers and professionals in the field of environmental protection and ecological safety is one of the stages on the way to the most effective management of environmental activities of the company.
Apart from  Environmental and Labor Protection Control System, adopted at the company and based on international standards ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007, each employee is assigned his/her own responsibility for maintenance and improvement of the environment and reduction of environment pollution.
In 2013, the Company will continue its work to ensure environmental safety. The priorities of the program are:  implementation of measures aimed at reducing environmental risks, improving safety at the workplace, protection of the environment in the areas of industrial activity.
