Varioganneft carried out comprehensive practical training for emergency response
Raduzhny, KhMAO. OAO Varioganneft, subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, held scheduled comprehensive drill for oil leak response at the company’s hazardous facilities, according to the press service of the company.
The drill was held at the oil treatment tank farm of NGDU 1. The drill was based on an assumed 7000 ton oil leak from a tank through a cracked weld at 2.5 meters elevation resulted from an over flow rate of oil supply to 10,000 m3 RVS № 6V tank.
The major purpose of the drill was to practice joint activities in case of natural or industrial emergencies.
The trainees were positively assessed by the observers – representatives of Chief Department of Ministry of Russian Federation for Emergencies in KhMAO-Yugra.
