"Saratovneftegas" provided charitable assistance to Saratov Province choral music theater

For a little over two decades of its existence, Saratov provincial choral music theater has managed to gain recognition of the audience and become one of the most famous creative units, adequately representing the region at the most prestigious music festivals - both in our country and abroad. The theatre often tours with concerts in France, Spain, Poland, Germany, Italy and the United States. This year, the Saratov choral music theater managed by L.A. Litsova has been the only provincial team invited to take part in the I International Open Festival of Arts, which took place at the Rachmaninov Hall of the Moscow Conservatory and was dedicated to the Victory Day. The repertoire of the theatre include  more than 300 works of various periods, styles, and genres. Particular preference is given to Russian music - the masterpieces of spiritual music (choral concerts by D.Bortnyansky, S. Rachmaninov), Tchaikovsky's and P.Chesnokov’s liturgies, choral pieces by Rimsky-Korsakov, S.Taneev.. A significant part of the repertoire is represented by the music of contemporary Russian composers. According to experts, the sound of the team features a dramatic tonal palette, perfect formation, expressive speech and musical intonation, precise sense of style.
«RussNeft" and its subsidiary producing company OAO  "Saratovneftegas" systematically carry out charitable activities in the regions where they operate.OAO  "Saratovneftegaz" is one of the major benefactors of the area. In 2012, the company took the first place in the regional round of the All-Russian contest "Russian organization of high social efficiency" in the nomination "For participation in solution of social problems of territories and development of corporate philanthropy." In 2012 OAO NK "RussNeft" acted as  the general sponsor of the tour in Saratov of  an honored team of Russia – the Academic Symphony Orchestra of St. Petersburg Philharmony.named after  DD Shostakovich managed by the People's Artist of the USSR Yuri Temirkanov. The  extraordinary musical event (not so often touring in Russia, the orchestra played for the first time in Saratov) became  the next important stage III International Mstislav Rostropovich Festival, organized by the initiative of the Ministry of Culture of Russia. In its turn, "Saratovneftegaz" sponsored the  VII All-Russian competition of folk singers named after  L.A.Ruslanova, which was attended by 98 artists from 30 regions of Russia. The authoritative music forum, named after our legendary compatriot - the great Russian singer Lidia Andreevna Ruslanova – has been held in Saratov since  1993 under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture. Besides, in the past year, significant funds were allocated to the Saratov Regional Philharmony named after  A.Schnittke in connection with the celebration of its 75th anniversary, financial support was provided to the Saratov State Conservatory. Named after L. Sobinov: one of the oldest music schools in Russia celebrated the 100th anniversary of its founding. In the current year of "Saratovneftegaz" has become the general sponsor of the tour of Tabakov Moscow Theatre School, held in Saratov from 27 to 30 May. It was the first visit of young students of the Moscow theater college to the city where its famous head  was born and learned the basics of acting. A unique educational institution, with  no analogues anywhere in the world, opened in 2010 thanks to the efforts of our fellow countryman - People's Artist of the USSR, the artistic director of the A.P.Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre. and the legendary "Snuff-box" Oleg Tabakov. Since then, every autumn recruitment of young talents for the college is carried out  in all parts of Russia (including Saratov).
Besides, over the last years , in accordance with the Agreement of cooperation signed between the Government of the Saratov region and OAO NK "RussNeft" the Company, its subsidiaries and affiliated companies annually assign a total of about 20 million rubles  for implementation of socio-economic programs, charitable and sponsorship projects in the region.
