Varioganneft is implementing energy saving and energy performance raising program at the oilfields of Variogan block
Raduzhny, KhMAO. OAO Varioganneft, a subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, is implementing energy saving and energy performance raising program at the oilfields of Variogan block, as the company press-service reported to “Samotlor-Express” agency.
The package of measures implemented within the frames of the program during the expired period of the current year included the following types of work: shut-down of noncommercial wells, total capacity 1 611 kW, upgrading ECPU electric parameters – 231 kW, volt-ampers reactive compensation at the well pads of Tagrinskoye oilfield enabled the company to save 850 thousand kW*hours which makes more than 2.7 million rubles. Reduction of energy costs by 2 734 kW*hours in the first semester of 2013 saved the joint stock company more than 10 million rubles.
Varioganneft will go on implementing the main objectives of its energy saving and energy performance raising program till the end of the year: shutdown of noncommercial wells; replacing ECPs and heating cables with sucker rod pumping units; introduction of coated tubing; application of volt-ampers reactive compensation devices, introduction of frequency converters for SRPU, as well as replacement and upgrading of the electric equipment, which will enable the company to save in 2013 in total 6 820 kW*hours for the sum of more than 22 million rubles.
The company intends to pay special attention to rational energy use in future too.
