OAO NK RussNeft and Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after Gubkin continue implementation of the joint educational project
Raduzhny, KhMAO. In July 2013 eleven students of the Regional Preparatory Department (APD), at the basis of Varioganneft became students of the faculties "Geology, geophysics, oil and gas," "Development of oil and gas fields", "Engineering Mechanics" of the prestigious Russian University of Oil and Gas named after Gubkin.
In 2010, on the initiative of the president of the company "RussNeft" Mikhail Gutseriev there was launched an educational project, implemented jointly by the holding and Gubkin University of Oil and Gas.. Its purpose was to prepare future professionals specialized in the field of oil and gas industry.
It covers the Volga region and Western Siberia: in Saratov, on the basis of Saratovneftegaz in Raduzhny on the basis of Varioganneft, subsidiaries of OAO NK RussNeft. In 2012-2013. thirty four high school students from Raduzhny, Tomsk and Khanty-Mansiysk took part in this project - the children of employees of the enterprises of OAO Varioganneft , OOO Tomsk oil, JSC NAC "Aki-OTYR." All the costs for training and education of the children in the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas were undertaken by OAO NK "RussNeft".
Core subjects at the regional preparatory department of the University (mathematics and physics) were taught by teachers of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas.. Specially designed training programs included not only the two extra-mural sessions in 2012-2013, but also a serious independent correspondence work of high school pupils under the supervision of teachers, which enabled the children to prepare most efficiently for the Uniform State Exam at school and subsequent admission to the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after Gubkin.
In autumn 2013 the Regional Preparatory Department of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after Gubkin on the basis of Varioganneft will again open its doors for the eleventh year pupils .
The joint educational project of oilmen and the leading Russian oil university is another important step in implementation of OAO NK "RussNeft" program of training young qualified specialists, who, upon graduation, will be in great demand at the holding companies and in oil and gas industry in general.
