RussNeft and Gazprom Neft won an area each

Tomsk . OOO Tomsk Neft ( 50.99 % owned by NK " RussNeft ", the rest belongs to Cyprus offshore companies ) and OOO Gazprom Neft- Vostok were declared the winners of yesterday's auction for the right of subsoil use at Sobolinoye and Yuzhno-Pudinskoye areas in the Tomsk region.

Tomsk Neft and OAO MPC Aganneftegazgeologia  ( RussNeft  owns 96.56 %) laid claim to Sobolinoye. Tomsk Neft became the winner of the auction , it proposed 401.5 million rubles for the  area, while  the initial payment was 365 million rubles. At Sobolinoye there were discovered two oilfields . From 2002 to 2008 the area was owned by Benodet Invest Ltd. Seismic surveys were performed and two wells were drilled. “On the whole, at the area there were drilled about 20 wells "- said the Acting Director of the Tomsk branch of Federal State Institution " Territorial Geological Information on the SFO " Olga Isaeva. OOO Gazprom Neft- Vostok and OOO Archinskoye  (also integrated in OAO Gazprom Neft ) laid claim to Yuzhno-Pudinsky area.  OOO Gazprom Neft- Vostok won, having offered 409.2 million rubles with the initial payment of 372 million rubles. "It's hard to call it (Yuzhno-Pudinsky area) , highly promising , since there have already been discovered four oilfields fields where works can be carried out. At this area it is necessary to study only the peripheral oilfields , "- said Ms. Isaeva . Tomsknedra planned to hold  the last auction for  nine oil and gas blocks the day before, but the department received applications only for Sobolinoye and Yuzhno-Pudinsky areas.
