ОАО Ulyanovskneft upgrades its equipment
Ulyanovsk. OAO Ulyanovskneft, subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, carries on its equipment upgrade program. In particular, DE 6,5-14 boiler was overhauled and heating surface pipes were replaced at UPN-500 oil treatment facility. Boiler’s automation received a new safety system on new electronic basis. The boiler is used for heating oil emulsion and operation facilities of UPN-500.
Electrical power automatic custody transfer system at Kudryashovskoye, Novolabitovskoye and Pravdinskoye fields was upgraded with 3 lease automatic custody transfer (LACT) units. 5 more LACT units are scheduled by the year end which will allow the company to use the power resources more effectively and reasonably. Besides, this will enable OAO Ulyanovskneft to enter the bulk market of electrical power.
Further upgrade of the oilfield equipment will complete the current engineering infrastructure of OAO Ulyanovskneft fields and allow more effective oil production.
