Saratov. Valery Radayev, the Governer, visited the municipal kindergarten in Yubileyniy in Volzhsky district of Saratov region on December 16. The new kindergarten for 300 children was built under the program for “Development of kindergartens in Saratov in 2011-2015”. The total cost of the project was 217 mln rubles, where 185 mln rubles were from OAO NK RussNeft as a private investor and 32 mln rubles were from the municipal budget.
The Governor was informed that all construction and installation works were fully completed and external and internal lines were connected and started up.
The head of the region inspected the surrounding area which was accordingly developed including installation of minor architectural forms (swings, chutes, other action-oriented facilities).
Total area of the kindergarten premises is 7831.22 m2. The kindergarten was designed as a complex of 3 buildings for 6, 5 and 4 groups correspondingly.
Valery Radayev visited the premises of the kindergarten including playrooms, bedrooms, gymnasium, music hall, nutrition unit, swimming pool.
After the inspection, the Governor emphasized the high level of the social responsibility of the company which funded the construction of the facility.
“Construction of the kindergarten was funded by a private investor. This is a significant support and contribution into solution of a major challenge – reduction of the waiting list for the kindergartens in the region. This is an example of a successful joint approach between the authorities and business to address the priority identified by the President of the country”, Valery Radayev said.
The head of the region also thanked the builders for the quality and pointed out the importance of construction of the major kindergarten in the developing municipal district. “The institution shall have all necessary functionality to ensure a comprehensive educational process and it shall become a modern centre of children development in the prospective district of Saratov”, the Governor stated suggesting that the staff should prepare a new-year celebration program for the future pupils of the kindergarten to be opened in the third decade of January.
