Varyoganneft summed up results of its activities in 2013
Khanty-Mansiysk. OAO Varioganneft, a subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, summed up the results of the year. In 2013, over 2.89 million tons of oil were produced at the oilfields of Variogan oil block.
Last year the company continued the commercial exploration of its sites, including undeveloped ones, as well as edge zones of Zapadno-Varioganskoe oilfield within the framework of the development and exploration drilling programme at the oilfields of Variogan oil block. In 2013 29 wells were put in production. It allowed to ensure additional production in the amount of 254 thousand tons of hydrocarbon crude. The press service of the company reported that average daily production rate of a new drilling well was 54 t/day. 239 geotechnical surveys were carried out at the oilfield of Variogan oil block ensuring additional production at the rate of 239 million tons. 3D seismic data of 175 km2 were obtained last year within the framework of the programme on geological prospecting work and mineral raw material base reproduction at Zapadno-Varioganskoe oilfield. Prompt reserves calculation allowed to transform a part of the C2 category reserves into C1 commercial category. As a result, a total increment of the recoverable ABC1 category oil was ensured at the level of 6,383,000 tons.
In 2013, OAO Varioganneft continued the programmes aimed at associated petroleum gas (APG) utilization efficiency improvement at the oilfields of Variogan oil block. A 94-km gas pipeline from Western UPSV Variogan plot to COP -3 «Varioganskaya» with a supply pipeline «CSN - Roslavl oilfield - tie-in point» was put into service. Along with that, Varioganneft continued its improvement of the fields’ engineering infrastructure last year. In particular, a new dining facility for 32 persons is being built at Zapadno-Varioganskoe oilfield.
In 2014 OAO Varioganneft plans to produce 2.65 million of oil and to drill 33 new wells on the license areas of the Variogan oil block. The accomplishment of the geological and technical programme will add to the «piggy bank» of the company 258 thousand tons of oil. This will allow the subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft to stabilize the hydrocarbon production and generate a steady growth performance.
