Saratovneftegaz implements unconventional technologies at high water cut fields

For example, for the first time on such wells, OAO Saratovneftegaz combined operation of the parker and NN-57 non-insert sucker-rod pump at Yazykovskoye field well 13, isolating the high water cut horizon. The experiment, which aim was a more efficient utilization of the wells given considerable oil production growth, resulted in the well’s daily oil production rate of 6.5 tons.

So far, the original installation has been started up and is being operated in the test mode. This concept is applied under the wells intervention program of OAO Saratovneftegaz. The key element of its strategy is to extend the effective service life of the brown fields by application of various methods of the oil recovery and development of low drainage oil reserves.
