RussNeft will drill 33 new wells on the licenses of Variogan oil block

OAO Varioganneft, OAO NK RussNeft subsidiary continued industrial development including undeveloped areas, as well as edge zones of Zapadno-Varioganskoye field within the program of implementation of the program of exploration drilling at the oilfields of Variogan oilblock.
29 wells were launched in 2013 from exploration drilling allowing to provide additional production output in the amount of 254 tons of hydrocarbons. The average daily flowrate made up 54 tons. 239 well interventions were made at declining well stock with additional production of 239 thousand tons. Seismic works, CDP method -3D, were performed at 175 sq. km last year within the program of exploration works and replenishment of mineral resources base at Zapadno-Varioganskoye field. The resources were also calculated  which allowed partial conversion of C2 resources into C1 industrial category. As a result total increment of ABC1 recoverable resources was provided. OAO Varioganneft continued implementation of the program of increasing efficiency of utilization of APG at the fields of Variogan oil field in 2013. Pipeline from Zapadno-Variogansky FWKU to Varioganskaya KS compressor station-3 with supply gas pipeline from Booster pump station through Roslavlskoye field to tie in point at total length of 94 km.
Apart from that Varioganneft continued to develop engineering infrastructure of the fields last year. In particular the building of a new canteen with 32 places was started at Zapadno-Variogansky field. OAO Varioganneft plans to produce 2.65 mln tons of oil and to drill 33 new wells at the licenses of Variogan oil block in 2014. Execution of the scheduled program of well interventions will add 258 thousand tons. This will allow OAO NK RussNeft subsidiary to stabilize hydrocarbons production volumes and to form a consolidated growth tendency of production figures.
